Re: "Mrs. Daiquiri Venson Crowned 2009 Mrs. Ohio Plus America!"


Mrs. Daiquiri Venson has been crowned Mrs. Ohio Plus America 2009. She will compete with women from all over the United States for the title of Miss Plus America Elite in July of 2009. “I am honored to be crowned Mrs. Ohio Plus America 2009. I have been given an opportunity to do something extraordinary”, Mrs. Daiquiri Venson said. The Miss Plus America Pageant system is unlike any other pageant concept. It celebrates the inner beauty of each contestant, as well as recognizing their commitment to their communities. Melissa Stamper, Executive Director for Coronet Productions says, “Mrs. Daiquiri Venson is an ideal candidate for the Miss Plus America Pageant. We are proud to have her as a state titleholder.”

As Mrs. Ohio Plus America, Mrs. Daiquiri Venson will have the opportunity to further promote her platform: Poverty: Breaking the Vicious Cycle. “I am spreading the word about how we as society can together break the poverty cycle with the help of CARE. CARE is the leading humanitarian organization that fights poverty globally. The organization also delivers aide to people who are survivors of natural disasters and wars. I chose to help CARE because they are changing the world one community at a time. By providing the tools for success, the communities are able to educate the children, maintain sanitary conditions and purchase life saving medical supplies”, she said.

Mrs. Venson’s occupation is a credit card fraud prevention analyst. “I am a day to day real life crime fighter. I feel like a superhero without a costume. My occupation enables me to help people who have been victims of identity theft and illegal activity on their credit cards”, Mrs. Venson stated. “I want to do my part to make society a better place. I plan to be an inspiration to the current and future generations by teaching the children how one ordinary persons actions can make a major difference.”
